The Hidden Skeleton


When I saw the prompt my immediate thought was of the phrase “skeleton in the closet”, the term used to described a hidden secret normally of dark nature. A concept which is the drive of many a crime or horror story, and in the case of Psycho a literal skeleton in the closet. Now as far as I am aware my family’s closet is pretty skeleton free though both of my exes had a certain degree of bone shaped artefacts in their closets, considering her troubled childhood Philippa had more a bone for the dog then a skeleton whereas Mary had quite the opposite situation. It is only due to arrangements made behind the scenes that she escaped a prison sentence and/or criminal record.

But not all Skeletons in the Closet are unpleasant as the British Jazz Trumpeter/Singer Nat Gonella illustrates:
