Share Your World Week 38

Are you a hugger or a non-hugger?

I am a bit of a hugger but tend more to an arm around the shoulder person or the friendly paternal hand on the shoulder.

In Cuba… I think the lady was either called Stacy or Tracy… either way everyone included the prefix ‘Crazy’

What is your least favourite Candy?

Candy- that’s American for Sweets and Chocolate isn’t it? I will admit that my sweet tooth, like Elvis, has long since left the building. I guess Jelly Babies are probably my nearest thing to a favour candy as are the super sour variety. On my three trips stateside I indulged in some of the Candy offerings available such as the inevitable onslaught of the Hershey bar, Sour Skittles (which lived up to their name much better Stateside) and a few others. No doubt on my return visit I will once again indulge in the old Hershey bar.

What’s the first thing that comes to mind when you hear the word “fun”?

A day of spontaneous activity.

List of Favourite Smells: What smells do you love? Whether it’s vanilla scented candles or the smell of coffee in the morning or the smell of a fresh spring rain…make a list of all the things you love for a little aromatherapy.

The smell of fresh wood burning on an open fire place.

Mary used to have a Vanilla Musk she regularly applied and I always distinctly remember the smell of it, every now and again a customer will walk by wearing the same scent and it brings back some fond memories.

I love the smell of spiced foods being cooked.

Soil fresh after a thunderstorm.
