If you were to pack a basket for picnic lunch, what would be in your basket?
Well I would learn from my previous two picnics, which were with Mary and Katherine respectively. With Mary it was a sort-of date in Ashes Hollow where the highlight was a dog running off with my trousers, and with Katherine it was a picnic accompanying a day trip to Southsea seafront, but it was early April and it wasn’t too warm so there was no sea dipping. Anyway, what happened on both occasions there was way too much food.
So I would sensible have a small variety of sandwiches but probably cut them into four as opposed to two, so people could have a greater variety of choice. A few different soft drinks in bottles as opposed to cans, a thermos of Tea/Coffee, fruit, Yoghurt, some sausage rolls, mini-quiches or pasties and some confectionary.
On a vacation what you would require in any place that you sleep?
Well the obvious answer would be a bed! On the whole all I’d need is a bed, a washroom and a kettle and cups so I could have a brew. I don’t think I could do a tent, having said all that I keep thinking back to my break in Yorkshire and thinking of all the abandoned empty barns and empty farm buildings, I have been contemplating staying overnight in a barn to capture the sunrise on the hills.
If you were to buy a new house/apartment what are the top three items on your wish list?
Are we talking in terms of inner decoration and stocking or location?
My number one priority is that it would be relatively near/on the outskirts of a town for work purposes.
A place to park the car and not be worried about it.
Have to have a shower, not so fussed about a bath.
