A piece of clothing from your younger childhood you still remember?

Outside of my Secondary School Uniform which made me look like a warmed up turd, there are a few.

There are a few jumpers knitted by Nan I recall. One was a Teenage Mutant Hero Turtle jumper which I was made to wear in a school photo in order to shame me for all eternity. The other which thankfully doesn’t seem to be recorded in photos was a yellow jumper with a Gollywog on it…. Which I would frequently wear when out in Wolverhampton when out with Nan and Grandad.

I had a bright yellow Anorak as an infant… But there was also my enormous scarf. Yes I have a proper Tom Baker style scarf.

Just illustrating how long it is!

Irregardless of your physical fitness, coordination or agility: If you could be an athlete what would do do? Remember this is SYW, dreaming is always allowed.

I guess I would like to be able to do the long jump, it was one of the few athletic sports I actually enjoyed at School. Pity I was shit at it.

In a car would you rather drive or be a passenger?

On the whole driver as I would be my own man.

What did you appreciate or what made you smile this past week? Feel free to use a quote, a photo, a story, or even a combination.

LONDON 1965!

Basically it must be the Doctor Who Marathon on Twitch. 10,000 youngsters have been watching William Hartnell’s Doctor and the over all response has been extensively positive. Ian and Barbara have been flavour of week it seems.

  1. I still remember a knitted red dress I had when around 8/9 and then my inseparable colored thighs I used wear with skirt in secondary school,I still like colorful tights actually.
I would like to be a rally driver.
I like driving but I don’t mind to be a passenger either but I suppose is the others hating having me as a passenger as I usually fall asleep 🤷🏻‍♀️
