Not Cee’s Share your World 30th July 2018

Have you ever been in a food fight?

I don’t think so, nor have I ever witnessed one in real life to the best of my knowledge. I have however seen the aftermath of the world’s messiest eaters over my years in the pub trade and one would think such an event had taken place. Seriously, I have a feeling some people think people randomly throw food at their faces and hope it’ll enter their mouths as they open and shut it.

Well here’s the food fight finale of Carry on Loving

How do you deliver bad news?

Very badly, if I can I do it by showing my leadership skills. Remember the art of leadership is delegation.

Usually, sit someone down in comfortable surroundings and break it straight…. And depending on the news remove sharp implements from the area.

Possibly because I have seen White Heat and recall how Jimmy Cagney’s character reacted to bad news.

What (if anything) do you think is beyond the stars?

I think thanks to relative time dialation I would think civilizations will have risen and past by the time we reach them and when we do venture past the confindes of our solar system it’ll be us being the invaders.

What “redneck” (unsophisticated) activity do you like to do?

Does going for long walks count as unsophisticated?

Is there a scary scene from a movie (or book) you viewed a child that still haunts you?

Well I remember being scared of the concept of a walking tree from a Rupert the Bear annual, (something I share with horror author Ramsey Campbell), which probably lead me to have a love/hate relationship with the Stump People in the Tim & the Hidden People reading scheme at school.

“There were five tree stumps outside now, and they were closer than they had been before. As Tim watched, he saw two slanting green eyes open in the trunk of the biggest stump. The eyes shone green and bright, and they were watching Tim.”

Oh and there is of course Noseybonk from Jigsaw

Jigsaw was a preschool show which had frequent appearances by Noseybonk whom was intended to be entertaining but for me was a lingering deathmask character akin to Micheal Myers and I was convinced that one day he’d sneak into my room and get me.

Last (rock trivia courtesy of Glyn), which true to form I won’t answer. I wanna see if anyone (besides Glyn) knows the answer:

Seal’s ‘Kiss From A Rose’ was the theme from which film?

Easy: Batman Forever. It was the first Batman movie I saw at the Cinema

  1. BWAHAHAHHAHAAA! I am going to laugh all day at that food fight clip. That woman in the blue dress showed remarkable poise considering. If someone had tipped an urn full of ice down my front? They may have died. LOL…. And that Nosybonk? Yes, that puppet thing is scary looking. We don’t have that over here, but “Jigsaw” has taken on a whole new meaning … given the “Saw” movies. And I thought all this time that jigsaws were FUN…

    Thanks for playing along! 😀
