Fandango’s One Word Challenge: Flood
One of the benefits of working in a Pub nowhere near a river is that come heavy rain there is no risk of business damage when the rain comes. While Ironbridge might be a bit of a fun and to be seen place, I wouldn’t want to deal with the risk the problems of the River Severn rising and best losing trade as the Wharfage is closed by flood defences, at worst flood damage to the property.
On the down side, where I work suffers from run off from the fields on the road and that made driving to and from work trickery.
I like the way you talk. Where are you from?
