What’s the worst topping you could put on popcorn? (credit to Teresa for this one)
In terms of existing toppings I will have to say melted toffee because I hate toffee! Being more imaginative I will say cheesy Sauerkraut… or how about custard? Maybe parsley sauce. Gravy?
In what country did Silent Night originate?
I would tempted to say Germany as a lot of Christmas songs and many traditions seem to originate from there plus it is the song which started the Christmas Day Armistice in the Trenches in 1914 as a German solider was singing it, but since I went to School and have studied music I know it is in fact from Austria.
How would you react if there was irrefutable proof that God doesn’t exist Tempted as I would be to rub in Mike Ion’s face (because he was a total arsewipe who continually harassed me at school for not being a Catholic), I think I would accept it as a correct answer on an exam.
How about if there was irrefutable proof that God does exist?
Track him or her down and bring them to account for the all atrocities in the world, especially those committed in his name.
Of course it depends on which god? The Abrahamic God of Jewish/Christian faith? Allah? The various gods of the Hindu religion? The Roman Gods? Greek Gods? The Trojan Horse god?
I’d ask the Trojan god why didn’t he say “Woe” to the horse… … … oh alright please yourself.
What is the scariest non banned item you could take on to a plane?
Babies. Having been on flights with crying infants it is no fun for anyone. Mum/Dad will get short strife from passengers who are trying to settle as will non-fussed passengers.
Which version of the holiday celebration do you and your family enjoy? By this I mean do you follow Jewish traditions with Hanukkah; Christian celebrations with Christmas and (for those over the pond) Boxing Day; or some other festivities that I’ve overlooked? Please do share with everyone! I truly feel that this sort of question lets us know a little more about our fellow bloggers without getting too personal (i.e. revealing too much of private lives, which some folks prefer to keep private.)
We tend to follow the tradition of the Sandman will be at work, haha! On the whole we do the typical Christmas and Boxing day traditions of gathering the family as it stands around for Christmas Dinner, gift exchange etc and of course the traditional family argument.
In fairness, the work arrangement has made Xmas day work out so much better.
