A Quick Quiz

A short little quiz. Answer either in the comments or create a post and provide a ping back:

When you grocery shop, where do you start in the store?

What’s your favourite department in a store (with more than one department, of course)?

Do you use coupons when you shop?

My Answers

1. I usually start in the Salad and Fruit section, I don’t tend to go for frozen veggies as I am not a huge fan of cooked vegetables. Also if I have a good salad selection I also always have a meal to eat.

2. I don’t really think I have a particular favourite department in a store.

3. Not really as they tend to be at quite a high cost to be efficient or on items I don’t use.

  1. 1. When you grocery shop, where do you start in the store?
Most grocery stores I shop at have the produce section (fruits and veggies) closest to the entrance, so that’s where I start.

    2. What’s your favourite department in a store (with more than one department, of course)?
It’s been years since I last set foot in a department store.

    3. Do you use coupons when you shop?
Most of the time I forget to bring them with me.

  2. 1. When you grocery shop, where do you start in the store?
Produce. It’s right inside the door. But time to time I head for the Pharmacy first. Those lines at that place? Crazy insane!

    2. What’s your favourite department in a store (with more than one department, of course)? They don’t have Department stores in Utah any more…well they DO, but they’re a dying breed. And I don’t shop in the ones that are still around, they are far too expensive, which explains why they’re dying off…that and the quality of the goods (bad) and the customer service (beyond bad right into awful and soul suckingly horrible)

    3. Do you use coupons when you shop? No. I’m actually coupon phobic courtesy of idiots who seem to use them and their propensity for getting in front of ME (who has no patience) and then having to go through EVERY SINGLE %$@#!! coupon they brought with them, and insisting the checker is wrong, when that person points out the coupon is expired. Sometimes by YEARS.

  3. 1. I start at the section closest to the door I walked in… that’s usually fruit/produce or deli
    2. I don’t think I have a fav department (at either markets or department stores)
    3. No coupons… I found that I always forgot them so now I don’t bother. Except at Walgreens, which has an electronic system that auto-tracks my “clipped” coupons and applies them at checkout.
