My current place of employment is without a shadow of a doubt the busiest place I have worked on a Sunday. Sunday is pretty much roast dinner all day from 12 til 8:30 and as such is the day with the biggest turnover. We regularly do in excess of 400 meals a day on Sunday with several occasions having broken the 600 mark. The reason is just the simple set up, no long waits for complicated main courses and a lot of people eat and just go, particularly smaller groups. Larger groups can linger but account for that when making bookings. Occasionally it goes wrong as people linger too long, but on the whole it is rapid turnover. That after work pint of a Sunday night goes down far too quickly.
